2023년 2월 20일 오늘 발표된 사이클론 공지에 따라 모리셔스 사이클론 경보 등급 3이 발효 중입니다.

Mauritius Meteorological Services에서 받은 열대 저기압 Freddy에 대한 최신 정보입니다.

07:00 시에 위성 이미지와 도플러 기상 레이더 수정은 매우 강력한 열대성 저기압을 나타냅니다.

프레디는 남위 18.2도, 동경 59.8도 부근 모리셔스 북동쪽 약 275㎞ 지점에 집중되고 있습니다.

프레디의 예상 중심 기압은 약 900헥토파스칼이며 중심 근처에서 예상되는 돌풍은 약 300km/h입니다.

약 30km/h의 속도로 서쪽 남서쪽으로 이동하고 있습니다.

이 궤적에서 프레디는 계속해서 위험하게 모리셔스에 접근하고 직접적인 위협을 나타내고 있습니다.

프레디와 관련된 활동적인 구름대가 모리셔스에 접근하고 있으며 이른 오후에 날씨가 급격하게 악화될 것입니다.

한 낮을 기점으로 사이클론 조건이 점차 우세해지겠습니다.

프레디는 오후 늦게 섬의 북서쪽에서 가장 가까운 거리에서 약 120km를 지나갈 수 있습니다.

이를 위해 저희 현지 사무실과 공항이 임시 CLOSE 합니다.

추후 공지가 있을 때까지 모든 항공편이 취소됩니다.

Kindly note that a cyclone warning Class 3 is in force in Mauritius as per the eighth cyclone bulletin issued today 20 February 2023.

Please find below the latest inform on tropical cyclone Freddy received by the Mauritius Meteorological Services:

At 0700 hours, satellite imagery and doppler weather radar fix indicate that very intense tropical cyclone 

Freddy was centred at about 275 km to the north east of Mauritius, near latitude 18.2 degrees south and longitude 59.8 degrees east.

The estimated central pressure of Freddy is around 900 hectopascals and the estimated wind gusts near its centre is about 300 km/h.

It is moving towards the west south west at an increased speed of about 30 km/h.

On this trajectory, Freddy continues to dangerously approach Mauritius and represents a direct threat. 

Active cloud bands associated with Freddy are approaching Mauritius and will cause a rapid deterioration in the weather early in the afternoon. 

Cyclonic conditions will gradually start to prevail as from midday.

Freddy may pass at about 120 km at its closest distance to the north north west of the island late in the afternoon
